Week #9: Finishing touches on the curriculum and preparing for our last week!


Blog #5:

  • Received dev robots and got those set up.

  • Connected Spike Prime to robot but haven't done anything with the information it receives.

  • Briana connected an Arduino (with joystick) to robot and programmed serial to get various x and y values.

  • Discussed using Jupyter Notebook prefilled with intro files.

  • With a camera connected to the bot, it will travel and obey "traffic sign" depending on what color it sees.

  • Used to camera to build a "line-following" robot that obeys different colors on the line.

  • Jousting file is finished and joust arena materials were made.

  • Airtable and the camera (serial) were integrated into the jousting files. The files were revised.

  • Prepped for our presentation next week.
