Week #6: Where will this live?

Blog #2: The overarching theme this week is answering the question, "Where will this live?"

• Weighed pros and cons surrounding which process to teach in the classroom: Jupyter Notebook or "brute force" (creating packages, etc.)

• Set the Arduino arm on the Create® 3 for a Hackathon where we drove the Create® 3 around to pass a baton.

• Wrote an example publisher, subscriber, and pub/sub/action combo file for our project GitHub.

• Discussed possible collaboration projects between the EN1 and ROS course in the fall.

• Studied writing an action server and client, then wrote two different multi-action client files (e.g. driving in a square). One shows how to do it using two classes, and another shows how to do it using one class.

• Sebastian set up his Raspberry Pi to begin mapping.

• Successfully set up the GitHub repo

• Uploaded the example package with diligent comments to explain virtually each line in the example files.

• Uploaded the Jupyter Notebook package which includes the same files in the notebook (.ipynb) format.

• Updated the read me for each package with explanations and instructions.
